Magnetic 3D Provides Ericsson with Glasses-Free 3D Technology for 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show

NEW YORK, NY - JANUARY 08, 2014

Magnetic 3D, the industry leader in glasses-free 3D solutions, today announced that it will provide Ericsson with glasses-free 3D technology at the 2014 International CES, taking place January 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. In booth #13638 of the Central Hall, Ericsson will present a multimedia experience, demonstrating the seamless interactivity across the company’s latest products and technology. Among the company’s newest developments on display will be the integration of mobile connectivity with Magnetic 3D’s glasses-free 3D technology.

“Leading the way with solutions and innovations, especially with respect to mobile engagement, Ericsson continues to demonstrate its commitment to embracing emerging technologies with the adoption of glasses-free 3D,” said Michael Dorin, COO of Magnetic 3D. “We are honored to join Ericsson at CES as they continue to develop a connected world full of innovative technology.”

In a zone of the booth, Ericsson will demonstrate the concept of interaction between mobile devices and 3D digital signage. In addition to supplying the 3D display for the demonstration, Magnetic 3D produced custom, glasses-free 3D content.

“In today’s world, consumers expect greater compatibility of multimedia content across various platforms,” said Tom Zerega, founder and CEO of Magnetic 3D. “We are thrilled to be working with Ericsson to demonstrate how media can seamlessly extend from mobile devices to our glasses-free 3D solutions.  It’s an exciting evolution that will be on display at CES 2014.”

Representatives from Magnetic 3D will be available in Ericsson’s booth to greet visitors, answer questions, and discuss the state of the art of glasses-free 3D technology.
